Hello Folks,

I'm new to the forum with my new 77 Eleganza. I live in Michigan where everything rusts. My new coach is in great shape but sat for 5 years prior to sale. All the calipers, pad and rotors were rusted. I purchase all new and now I am wondering if I should paint the new calipers to help prevent rust? I see several folks paint them on their car for cosmetic reason, I just want to prevent rust and hopefully have them last longer.

Has anyone painted? Does anyone think this is a bad idea?

Thanks

Mike Thomas Marine City, MI 77 ex Palm Beach
