Just to add my two cents; I installed Pergo in my coach last year after considering real wood flooring. I consulted people who know about real wood floors and I was strongly advised not to use it in the coach due to expansion and contraction because of the large temp. and humidity variations. Installation of the Pergo was fairly easy, but the removal of the old floor and thin underlayement was a PIA. About four hundred screws were used to hold it all down. I left expansion space around the edges of the new flooring and trimmed it all out with stained and varnished quarter round. It's plenty good for the guy who lives there.
