Due to a number of personal reasons we have narrowed our MH search to a model with twin rear beds. Looking at the floorplans, is it possible to reconfigure a rear queen to two twins? It appears that the size of the area is the same and it would be a matter of rebuilding the floor layout. Am I wrong? Are there other hidden things under the floor that might interfere?

We have been looking for a couple of years and gathering info and with retirement a couple of years away it is now time to buy and adapt it to our needs. There are some nice units out there but they are rear queen setups and that will not work for us. I really like the Royales but most seem to be a rear bath. There is a 77 Palm Beach in my price range that has possibilities but the rear bed configuration is the only issue.

Has anyone done such a change that can elaborate on the pitfalls?
