hello all
please forgive me, as i am not quite sure if i should even be putting this out here, and i am definitely not sure of the response i may get, so i will try to be brief
what i am wondering is, are there any gmc owners on this board
that may be involved in urban search and rescue, either through your fire department, or a sar team, that may be wanting to get out of their gmc that may want to barter.
what i have for offer is a high tech piece of urban search equipment called a searchcam 2000 made by search systems
to be brief a color camera system that one would use in a structural collapse it inserts into a "2 inch hole to look for entrapped or barricaded people once you find the persons
you can communicate with them through a built in microphone, and headphones
it is an expensive piece of equipment new it goes for around $15,000 and the camera i have is in almost new (excellent condition)
i have it listed for sale with fenton fire apparatus, and the Pennsylvania fireman magazine.
the basics i am looking for are running that's the biggie as i don't have the time or money for any unique fixer uppers.
late model 75-78 livable, (again can't be gutted waiting to be reborn)
tires must be decent able to make it to Florida, from Pennsylvania
would prefer either a green palm beach, or the pineapple yellow glenbrook
dual ac, roof pod, awning all is negotiable
i know there are more than a few out there that cover the above
in the $5000 range and if you want to barter i am fine with taking a $6000 coach
this searchcam is easily worth $8000 to $10,000
i have several "issues" of my own, and if you really must hear my "sob story" email me in private, and all of my resources are tied up in this.
you could take the searchcam and resell it, buy it for your department, or donate it and take a tax write off
i am not looking for a handout here guys, i guess you could say i am just looking for a break
thanks
Mitch
