I just received my new ZipDee awning from the factory. It comes with GMC specific instructions but they are brief and a little confusing. Step three says, define the awning area: Fix the position of the rear arm first. Mark the rear plum reference line 1/2" from the rear edge of the compartment as shown in figure three.

I assume they mean the edge of the propane compartment but the drawing is far from scale and looks more like three inches. Can someone with a ZipDee measure yours? It's the edge of the compartment to the two screw holes in the hinge casting. Anyone? I din't want to drill a hole in the wrong spot. Thanks fellas.
