I just spent my first night in our GMC! Although we've owned it for over a year it wasn't really habitable until very recently - it just barely is, really. I tested it just by myself first because since I did so much work on it I wanted to be on alert should something go wrong.
But it all went well, and even with a rather cold and wet night outside, it was quite comfortable inside! The new SF35F did its job quite well, and I was surprised that there were actually next to no odd creaks and groans - these coaches are pretty tightly put together!
Ah, to be gently lulled to sleep by the noise of the buzz box!
I wanted to mark this major milestone by sending a big thank you to this list and forum. Over the past year I have asked so many questions on here, and every time I have received very informative answers and advice from so many of you. This has really helped me do the right thing, as well as find cost effective but proper solutions to my problems. This community provides a level of support that is truly exceptional for any product, and even more so when we're talking about a 30-year old RV!
I have no doubt that I will have many, many more questions to come, and hopefully at some point, some answers too for those who are getting started on their GMC ownership journey (because, as I have discovered, it is indeed a journey and not just a state of things).
But for now, it is the time for a big thank you to all who helped me (you know who you are!) - and a couple of donations too.
