Last time I caulked my GMC I used the most popular and promising caulk that was recommended here.

It lasted a year or so but when I inspected I found that it either shrunk or actually deteriorated away,
exposing seams to weather. Mind you this was touted as the best to get at the time.

I am offered now, another option, called LEXEL

Comes in clear or extreme WHITE, applied with a caulking gun (your own), when cured it is
said to be water proof, extremely durable, uv resistant, won't wear away by weather.

LEXEL is used by some Southern homesteads and they recommend this with no second options. The vids
they show using LEXEL are thorough and to the point. They also talk about results over time which
are impressive.

I'm looking for any others who may have used it.

For the most part, the reviews are to the point and informative.

By what they are saying, LEXEL seems to be far ahead of most we have been using.
