Retiring in 18 mos. Hope to persuade the bride that she can retire too. We'll have two boys under our roof for another 4 years.

I am planning some EPIC family travel before they leave the nest.

Considering the idea of a road trip around Europe in the GMC. Apparently, you can go more places in your own car rather than a locally sourced rental.

I know we have a few members across the pond, I'd love to hear from them.

Also, what spare parts ? in the US I'd carry a starter and the usual repair material, figuring that anything else i need can be sourced in a couple days.

If i was having to deal with a 10 day delivery time, plus shipping cost, customs etc, I'd carry a lot more stuff.

What stuff?

Dave & Ellen Silva Hertford, NC 76 Birchaven, 1-ton and other stuff Currently planning the Great american Road Trip Summer 2021 It's gonna take a lot of Adderall to get this thing right.
