Hi all,

we're planning to do some boondocking in mid-September and I'm hoping to repair the gas/electric selector knob to allow us to use the fridge in "gas mode". It works perfect in electric mode and that's the only way we've used it since we bought our 78 Royale in May of 2012. The PO accidentally twisted the knob off and it's stuck in the electric mode. Has anyone attempted this repair? I want to remove the control panel cover to see what's going on, but I'm not certain how all of the knobs fasten to the rods going into the fridge. Appreciate any advice on this. I'd hate to ruin the fridge trying to "fix" it. Thank you!

Dave
