Well that's at least what I thought I had. I was replacing both front 80mm calipers because I thought the left front was sticking really BAD. Found it to be the hoses, I was replacing anyway. Found the hose was crushed by the rust inside the bracket that is on them to secure it, they had built up enough to collapse the line. the line ID is only 1/8" at most and only takes 1/16" on each side to collapse it. I'm talking about, I guess 20 years old, 80mm hoses. I had got new hoses from Jim K. I went ahead and removed the brackets they came with and made some out of "P" straps with rubber inserts and a 3/4 inch spacer and longer bolt and actually came out looking quite sanitary. I was replacing the calipers anyway because how hot it got. Test ran and it was like a new beast. I believe this has been going on over a year about when I left the convention in Tallahassee last year, I almost believe it was causing weird trans mission shifting. Have been hearing a stutter or strange noises out of the left front, thought the tires were chirping. I think it was shuttering and then letting loose. Lost a whole lot of strange smells today. Just thought it might be something that might want to be checked on those hoses when they get age. Determined it was in the bracket area by cutting the hose on both sides and they were clear and could easily blow through, but couldn't blow through the bracket area and the rust is visible when looking at the bracket. In case someone is having weird problems this might be it.
