Evening all,

It's probably been hit on before, but all I can find is that the the left header has to removed to remove the governor. I looked under and noticed I have a governor with the removable weight cover. Has anyone ever tried by removing the cover first getting more clearance and then see if the governor will come out. The governor is the easy part, the oil tube through the header is the hard part. Can't hurt to ask. And I've got a header that isn't leaking. In case your wondering, I've got a weird intermittent shift problem and all things point to a sticking valve or weep hole in governor.
