Did the GMC come with the oil filter housing connected by hose to block? I've only seen two GMCs up close and they both had that. Not sure if it is an add on?

Anyway, the REVCON has the oil filter housing right on the block. I'm thinking i want to move it and add an oil cooler. I'm looking for recmendations on what to use and how to do it.
