If you purchased the FMCA Sprint MiFi, and your display says "disconnected". You need to call FMCA and talk to Brent, FMCA Tech Guy.
Do not go to SPRINT for a fix. They do not understand the problem. I had Sprint "technician" convert my Sprint MiFi or hotspot into an electrical brick.
