At the GMCMI Convention in Tallahassee, John Richardson presented a tech talk about oil analyses and the incredible amount of information you can learn about your engine from the analysis. Since then, I've been reading some of the articles and newsletters on Blackstone's site about oil, engine wear, additives, viscosity, brands, filtration, etc. I highly recommend that every GMCer browse the articles on the Blackstone Laboratories site, and get their oil analyzed, regularly. Thank you John Richardson. The results for my 403 appear to show fairly good news. See the analysis here:

I'd be interested to see others' oil analyses results, especially the 403's if you have them.
