I put the Howell/General Motor's EFI on 3 years ago. Been extremely happy with it. Got it from Jim K at Applied GMC. In the mountains or on the great plains. The main shining points to me are. Includes spark control. As that's a big part of why to put EFI on to start with. It's a system that's been used since 1987. So well time tested. It's a very well known system in the GMC community. You can walk into any parts store anywhere to get any of it's GM components. We got 8.3 MPG on a trip from Iowa to Az. With a Royale that are the heavies of all GMC's at 12,000 lbs. And pulling Linda's 5000 lbs handicap Uplander life van. Simple to install. I put two fuel pumps, and all the fuel lines on the outside of the frame rails. To have them in cooler air.
