Finally got a chance to start working on the new to me GMC. Decided to start with the Onan and service it up and see if it will produce electricity. It only has 317 hours on the meter. I picked up a gallon of Rotella 15-40 and went to NAPA and gave them the WIX number ( WIX 51762 ) I gleaned from previous postings on this board. I got a NAPA Gold 1516. It was a "little" longer than I might like. It fit ok and the onan will slide in but it rubs on the way in. A better NAPA number I think is NAPA Gold 1374. Do others here use the NAPA Gold oil filters. I have been using them in other applications and the warehouse is close to where I work on the GMC. Any input is appreciated. I will try to start the Onan tomorrow and see if it will start and produce electricity. I am going to supply the gas from an alternate source to be sure the fuel is fresh and available to the onan. Any tips or observations as I proceed will help keep me on track

THANKS
