This was the first trip in CoRV after she came back from the Jim Bs. Last Falls' debacle caused by an inadequate cooling system led to a fresh Manny Tranny. That and a no longer supported FI system led to a complete cooling system replacement (Griffin Radiator, 40 row plate trans cooler, pump, thermostat, fan clutch and all hoses) and an Fitech, Intake and a Springfield Ignition HEI , Wires and Plugs.
Other than the throttle sticking a bit she ran great. Temps were 190-200 water (Fitech indicates 160-180) and oil, 160-170 trans with an outside temp of 94 cruising at 60-65. We had a great weekend visiting family and attending the Alabama Blueberry Festival. I still think there is a bit too much play in the steering but it is easy to maintain your lane one handed and it is not wandering all over the place.
Issues:
I don't have a review mirror, I have a backup camera but a mirror would be nice to see what is falling in the back of the coach, lol. Does anyone know a model number or link to one that fits on the stock bracket?
A leak at the foot pedal of the toilet- gotta address that, a towel under it worked in a pinch.
One of the bathroom faucets decided it would not shut off. We just kept the water turned off until we needed it.
The Macerator ground screw was nowhere to be found, I held the wire to the bare hole where the screw was while my wife flipped the switch. It was pumping along and just quit. The motor wasn't hot and it didn't seem like it was binding. I applied direct ground with the power probe and it still would not run.
Transmission pointer is one position off and it is driving me nuts.
First I have to address the sticking throttle.
Then I have to figure out why the macerator isn't macerating, then either repair or replace the faucet and fix the leaking foot pedal. I have to sift through the crate of paperwork that came with the coach to see if I can figure out the model of the toilet.
