I put a vintage Air unit under my dinette in a 73-23'. Froze your legs off.
Used it for about 10 years and sold it to another GMCer, as I built a side
bench. Bought it back 5 years or so later and mounted it low on the middle
dash area. Although I have now sold the 23' and am starting to bring a
'75-26' Avion back to life, the VA is still going strong.

I also had a sunroof in that 23'. I would NEVER do that again but I
absolutely would get a truck cab roof mounted Vintage Air and run the hoses
up the cabin wall to the distribution system blowing down.
