Hope this isn't too far "OFF TOPIC"
My Name is Peter Papas - I used to post a lot - years ago..
I've owned a total of 4 GMC Motothomes in the past - My last one was a Classco Conversion
I'm still a longtime member of the Florida GMC Sunshine Statesmen
I've been a vendor at a number of GMC Internationals (vacuum pumps)
I was also invited too present my RTS BUS CONVERSION PROJECT (made by the same GM team that built the GMC M/H) at an GMC International
I eventually out-grew our GMC M/H and my RTS bus conversion (I'm a pretty big guy)
I looked for a similar style - small RV that had a :
. strong frame (like the GMC M/H)
. walk around queen bed - tied of crawling over other to use the bathroom
. full size Living Room and Kitchen
PLUS
. A modern / efficient fuel injected strong reliable motor that still had readily available parts
. used RV Parts that were not made out of UNOBTAINIUM - that were available - "off the shelve"
I found what I believe was a Great alternative RV -
1999 REXHALL VISION V29 - Ford Triton V10 - only 29 ft - one piece fiberglass roof and a FULLY WELDED STEEL UNIBODY FRAME
Had it now for about 8 years - getting too old to use it - Like to Vacation on Cruise ships instead of RV'ing
It's now for sale - have a look --> only 26,000 miles

Thank You
Hope that this post is perhaps relevant enough to GMC M/H's that you guys will let me post after a long absence for the GMCNET forum
