I am going to rebuild my carb and thought I would take a photo of the proper location to check for a stuck power valve. Carefully take a straw (screw driver) and press down through this tube. You will contact the top of the power valve. The valve should push down about 3/16" then spring back up if it is working correctly. If the valve is stuck down you will have a loss of power. We ran into this problem a few years ago.
