I'm in the process of rebuilding the carburetor, I ordered a rebuild kit from summit racing and they sent me Hygrade Carburetor repair kit 1580 Kit V17024, but i believe it's not the correct one, so i called them back to verify and a different sales rep told me they didn't even have my carburetor number in their system Rochester quadrajet 17053309, (403 Engine Federal Standard Non-ca)

is this the correct carburetor ?
or did the previous owner change it ?

I do have a Carburetor on a 1974 455 engine, but unable to locate it's number yet to see if it can be used instead.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car, understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Hp is how fast you hit the wall, and torque is how far you take the wall with you when you hit it.
