Many of you probably saw this on Facebook but I know not all of us overlap. We have completed our second big trip in the last 4 weeks. First was the 1600+ mile round trip to D.C. in mid-November, and the second was a trip to Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World in early December. We had the two small problems on the D.C. trip, throttle cable falling off the carb and the disintegration of a vapor separator line, but the 1150 mile round trip to FL had no outstanding issues.
So proud of our coach. We haven't pushed it through two long "must-do" trips like this in the 9 years we have owned her. Sure we put 35000 miles on her before these two trips, but while they were wonderful vacations, they weren't critical events. We simply had to be in D.C. for Crystal's grandparents' burials at Arlington and we simply had to turn around 2 weeks later and get to Disney for the twins' 5th birthdays. The coach ran like a dream and we had a blast at Fort Wilderness, a place I hadn't been since my own early childhood and a place I had wanted to return to since we've owned the coach.
I was also fortunate enough to meet up with GMC alumnus Byron Songer at his Disney winter job, so there was an added bonus to this wonderful family experience.
As with all useage, I do now have a punch list to keep up on my well-running coach, but nothing that stopped us dead along the way. Time to get ahead of those items so we can have a great Spring and Summer this year in our wonderful GMC.
Thanks,
Jeremy Knezek
