My floor jack has just died and I was sent the wrong repair kit to
rejuvenate it. Thus I need a new jack!

The old one was a 3 1/2 ton floor model. Is this the best choice or can I
get away with say a 3 ton ....or do I go heavier?
I always use jack stands as an insurance policy and only lift the front in
the centre so the whole thing rises at once. This would likely be the
heaviest lift.

What are you guys using for lifting power?
Thanks
