I have reported in the past that have National Interstate through Explorer RV (the broker in Cleveland area)
Judy Kramer 888-774-6778 (option #4 at the menu)

I am paying $796 for a year with a $50,000 agreed value.

I had a claim about two years ago when my awning filled up with water and crashed down and broke supports.
They settled that claim very quickly.

On Wed. Oct.10 while returning from the GMCMI convention in Ohio I broke down just after entering the NE corner of Colorado.
I was 172 miles from home.

I called the National Interstate toll free number they had given me for road service. I told them I was broken down and would require a toll to my home driveway.
They told me to call any local tow company that I was comfortable with and then send National Interstate the bill.
When the tow driver hooked me up he told me that they charged $250 per hour and that it would be a 7 hour round trip from there to my home.
The bill would be $1750! I thought that seemed high as it was about $10 per mile but I went ahead and had him tow me.
When I got home I drafted a letter and sent the invoice to National Interstate requesting them to reimburse me. I crossed my fingers hoping that they would honor the claim.

I got a call this morning from them asking me if the tow was to the nearest qualified service place that could work on my motorhome. I said yes. I also said I was a little surprised at the size of the bill but they said that motorhomes are heavy and large and that amount didn’t bother them. They said they would send me a check for $1750.
I got an email from them a few minutes ago telling me that the check was in the mail to me.

That is great service and I highly recommend them. I don’t know what all states they underwrite in but I had also used them when I lived in New Mexico. They are one of the few companies that will write an agreed value policy. on our GMCs.
