I am about to manufacture a set of sullytype brackets. i would of bought them off of Tod but due to exchange rates and shipping costs to Australia these brackets would have cost me almost 1000 dollars Australian to get them here, the bags alone so far have cost me 750 dollars.
i have found the drawings that Mark originally built these brackets to, but i know that the Sully brackets have a few mods done to them.
would anybody have these dimensions so i can manufacture these myself

what i want to know is

how much the offset is for the standoff it appears to be about 1 inch but i would like someone to confirm

what is the final diameter that has been changed to provide more protection from tyre blowout

is the diameter the same on both ends

the above information is straight forward
but the next question is open to debate

can someone give me a reason as to why the standoff plates are set at an angle
when i have my coach at ride height the tops of the bogie arms appear to be parallel
i therefore come to the conclusion that he standoffs should be parallel at ride height
can someone please enlighten me as to why my thinking is wrong
