Hello Team GMC, the coach I'm interested in purchasing has been Pre-Purchase Inspected and we are very close to completing the sale. One of the items identified in the PPI is the Gear Shifter Cable, it appears it is beginning to seize up. I noticed this during the test drive, it was a bit difficult getting out of park and into gear and the tech feels it should be replaced.

Is this an easy fix and should I save it for a winter project, or just have it replaced prior to my picking up the coach along with a few other items that need attention, assuming the deal comes together?

If it's a fairly straight forward repair what should I be aware of if I decide to tackle it?

Thanks again for your input, it's appreciated.

Stay Well,
Mike
