Down to the details after changing out the drive train, and front suspension last week end. I bought the black trim from Applied GMC. Very nice material. With 3M adhesive tap on the back. Very simple to put on after removing the old one. Cutting it at a perfect, and straight 90 degree at each end was my issue. I started by installing the pieces that are around the side marker lights. I noted that the end cuts weren't perfectly cut. I used a box cutter. But to no avail. So I used a square, and box cutter to make a true line from side to side that was right next to the not to square end. Then took the piece over to my bench grinder. Using the side of the grinding wheel to grind back to my marked line. Grinding slow, and with care was the key to not getting the piece warm. Used this method at all ends, and joints. Very pleased with the results.
