Today was spent getting the FD, trans, knuckles, and other parts prepared for installing in the GMC. There were so many very new parts put in the burned 78 just before the fire. When I put the 3:70 FD in years ago. I put synthetic gear lube in. As I only use synthetic in wheel bearings, and the FD. Isn't/wasn't it recommended that a specific weight gear lube be installed?
