So ive had this weird noise that has never gone away in my coach. Ive tried tracking it down and it always sounded like the Power steering pump, it worked just fine so I just left it. Well tonite I was filling the radiator with fresh antifreeze and decided to pull the oil dipstick to make sure it wasnt milky looking after changing the intake gaskets and the noise went away when i pulled it out. It doesnt look chewed up at all, theres some marks on it that looks like its been rubbing something. So Now im real curious as to if my dip stick level is correct and why its making that noise. I can push the stick all the way in and the last quarter inch or so is where it makes noise.
Any ideas?
How much oil should it take when i drain the pan and pour in new to get it on the FULL line?

Ive never checked the oil or pulled the stick with it running so that was just crazy news to me.
