You get the condition of a limited slip, or locking unit causing a vehicle to go straight in slippery conditions. That condition only occurs in a rear wheel drive when equipped with any type of locking, or limited slip. As to front wheel drives. There's basically no negative affect. If you're really stuck in deep. Limited will assist to get you out. But that's as far as that's going.
