I've got one of Jim Bound's small automatic fire extinguishers for the generator compartment.
It's the kind with the automatic head mounted on the bottle. Where have folks been mounting these?
I know the genset gets REALLY hot on top since that's where the exhaust manifold runs, so
I'm worried about it going off during normal operation.

Anybody clues on where best to mount the thing for the generator? I was kind of thinking
more toward the battery end with the head pointed at the top of the genset.

Also, for the engine compartment, it looks like the air cleaner creates an obstacle for coverage.
Any thoughts on the best placement there?

thanks,
Karen
