What's that you say, Bucky - got a stock dash but you want to know how hard the 455 is spinning:

And you want to know how your batteries are doing? Is that what's botherin' ya, Bucky:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/instrumentation/p60852-ammeters.html

The tachometer is a small Sunpro Supertach II, renumbered with rub - offs from Office Max and the selector set to 4 cylinders, which gives 4K rpm full scale.
The ammeters are Sunpro 60-0-60 meters mounted under the dash. Left label says CHASSIS, right says HOUSE.

Total cost was under $60, because I had about twenty feet of #4 stranded wire for the ammeters.
