Thanks Kerry and Ken,

I will check the alternator as my dash volt meter does show some movement above where it should be on max output once in a while. I will pull the hatch this morning and see if it is warm to the touch. The few times I have measured alternator output with a known good meter it has been spot on.

No batteries connected in parallel on the chassis side, just one Optima that is about a year old. I will look for a NAPA that has an in vehicle battery tester and try to rule out bad battery. This coach stays plugged in all the time it is in storage with the battery banks charged by a PD multi stage charger and a Blue Sea combiner so have never before experienced this issue. We often dry camp for an over night with no such symptoms. This occurred after two days without shore power.

There is a root cause somewhere, I just have to find it.

Just as a reference, I got involved with a parasitic draw problem on my Colorado a few years back. I found that the design standard from GM was that
a vehicle must draw less than 20 ma. (.020 amps) after the computers went to sleep. I had around 350 ma. draw and in two days the battery was low
enough that it would not start. So if you are chasing a parasitic draw problem with a meter look for less than 20 ma. My Colorado now draws 18 ma.

One other thought is batteries can internally short and draw themselves down over time. So do not rule out a battery as a possibility. An easy way
to prove it is not the battery is to disconnect the battery for a few days and see if it still goes down.

You don't have two batteries wired in parallel do you?
