I know this has been discussed. I have searched the forums. I have esentially 2 questions for the experts. I blew a bag the other day on my 78 Royal. I've decided on the sully built bag system because I can build the brakets and get the recommended bags for $160 each. Question one: Is there really no bag that works in place of the original? Less range of adjustment, rides a little harder? If it's close I'm in. There are so many bags available, you would think something would work. Question two: I know I'm being cheap here but this thing is a money pit and I have other expensive hobbies. Since I'm building my own brackets is there another bag that might work. It seems there are lots of bags available for $50ish. I know nothing about bags so the spec sheets are a bit confusing. Thanks in advance for any wisdom you might have on this subject.
