Interesting that the new CRV and HRV in all trim levels are available in Canada with a standard transmission so towable four down. The CVT models are not as others have pointed out. In the US I could not find a standard trans model of the CRV, but in lesser models it is available on the HRV and the Fit. Too bad the warrantee was not transferable across the border as we likely would have purchased a standard trans version of one of these upper end models there.

Yes, it is as long as it is a manual transmission unit. The only Honda that are now towable for 2016 are Manual Transmission units which include the Civic LX and Sedan LX and the FIT & HR-V. In 2015 only the FIT LX & EX in manual version were available. In 2014 the CR-V in all models with Auto trans were towable. In 2013 both the CR-V and FIT Auto trans were towable.
