OK, I'm finally replacing the headliner. It was at the top of my list when we bought the coach four years ago but life (and a new engine, transmission, wheel bearings, fuel tanks, air conditioning, rear suspension, etc.) intervened.
Is it possible to remove the plastic strip between the walls and the ceiling without destroying it? It's not as brittle as I expected. I can get a 1" chisel behind it and twist it 45 degrees or so but I feel that I am at it's breaking point. I know there is a Panduit replacement (anyone have the part number handy?) but if I can use the original I would prefer it. It is pretty yellow, though. Not sure if that was the original color or if it has yellowed over the years. If I can get it out without destroying it I might try to paint it.
