Hi Jon,
Minor correction, it would more properly be referred to as a surge tank and not a fuel cell, but it is easy to mount to the PS radiator support ahead of the radiator right in the air flow at the upper PS of the radiator. I used a piece of heavy UHMW bolted to that radiator support and then the included FiTech Fuel Management system mounting yokes bolted to the UHMW to hold the unit itself. Simple and fast. Run the incoming fuel line from your mechanical or electric low pressure pump to the inlet fitting, the included high pressure fuel line to the outlet fitting, and a piece of 3/8 fuel line from the outlet vent on the unit to a T in the fill vent just aft of the DS wheel. There is no need to look at the two included pressure gauges except for trouble shooting. They are easy to see looking down through the PS hood. Dimensions are on the FiTech web site but from memory the upper part is around 10” in diameter by 4” tall and the lower part about 6” in diameter by about 4 or so inches tall. It only needs to hold enough fuel to keep the high pressure pump fully submerged.

I see that fuel cell needs to be installed vertically. What are the dimensions of this thing? Where could you mount it where you could see the gauges? I have 76 Palm Beach. The only place I can see is the compressor stand under the drivers side hood but this will require some fabrication and a lot of gas line. Any advice or suggestions?
