On our way to the CMCMI rally in Rapid City this last Sept. We ran into large areas that there was no internet, or cell service. That happens out here in the midwest. And other area's of the country. You're going to miss emergency contact the most in remote area's. It does no harm having it available. As to the light in the pod. All my emergence stuff is in my pod because hopefully I'll never need it. But on a lonely stretch of highway at night is also where I'll wish I put it in. As I'm not having to deal with holding a flashlight. Or no light at all. There again. No harm for having it. Bob Dunanugh Member GMCMI Iowa,78 Royale
