If you travel with your dog:

Usually neither side is very interested and they may or may not ask if you
have paperwork for said dog. You know how it works...if you don't have it
they will ask and if you do, they won't .
It also depends on the attitude of the boarder person..having a bad day,
lumps in morning Pablum, whatever......

The above is a start.

AND....For the Love of (name deity), do not forget to get the gun out of
you coach before crossing into Canada.
