We went with creative world tour group and that was a very successful 43 days for us. If you want to see all the highlights of Alaska, I would recommend considering a tour group where everything is planned and reserved. All RV spots were reserved for the group because their is very little space in Alasken towns/cities to park a RV if you want to go to local eateries and entertainments. The tour group rented busses and we were taken to and from the dinners/entertainment in buses, Nobody in our group had their tow with them. Remember it is cold there in most of the winter and most people travel by skies or snowmobile, hence no need for a lot of parking spaces. The tour group made RV parking reservations 6 years in advance and that was 1998 before the baby boomers started to retired in 2011. We took the Alaskan Highway from mile 1 in Canada into Alaska and the ferry system back to to Washington on a 4 day trip with a ranger aboard talking about the scenery.

I wrote about our trip and it takes four full Photo album books to cover my writings and pictures.

We left on July 4 and there were no bugs during our trip. We stayed over in Alaska and returned to the US in med September when it started to freeze the water hose over night.
