My PPO installed a macerator pump, I'm guessing 15 years ago. The pump looks like it is has been leaking for quite some time where the pump housing mates with the motor housing. The housing is too rusted to get any make or model info off of it, but the documentation the PO gave me has the manual for a Jabsco 18950.

It looks like I can get a service kit for the 18590 for about $50 from Amazon. Amazon also has a new 18590 for about $130. Would you recommend the kit to try to repair the pump or should I just figure the pump is at the end of it's live and just replace the whole unit?

Thanks for your feedback.
