My PO had put a nice foam mattress ontop of dinette in the back to
convert that area to a permanent bed. Nice, but not perfect, as the
mattress ontop of the seat was very soft. Not good for the back.
I went ahead and got a slated base from IKEA for 75USD. Needed to cut a
bit off, but the result is perfect.
Shows the left part of the full bed. The outmost beam had to be cut, and
the cross beam relocated by about 3 inches. Works very nice, and took no
more than 15 minutes.
