So I had a little issue a few weeks ago of what I believe was an overload of the electrical system. It was hot as hell and I had 2 fantastic fans running and one plugged in the cig lighter for the cockpit.
Came to a stop at a light and smoke came up through the glove box. I turned the ignition off grabbed the extinguisher and jumped outside. The wire from the alternator had been spliced and the old part burned up.
I was able to get home and replaced the burned wires. The solenoid and isolator re new but the left side of the solenoid is no longer completing a circuit. Dead. To start the coach I have to hook up the positive lead of the battery to the left side and boom it starts.
Any ideas?
