Hi all,

I haven't posted in quite a while. Now I'm hoping someone might be able to tell me what a couple of 1/4" poly lines are that sprout off of the lines that supply water to the galley sink? There are two of them. One on the hot supply the other on the cold. There are "T" fittings in the supply runs and a small valve in the bottom of the "T" fitting. Both of the 1/4" lines run down to the floor where they come together into some kind of bulkhead fitting that is next to the bulkhead fitting in the floor for the propane line coming up.

I'm going to replace as much of the original fresh water piping as I can with PEX and if these 1/4" lines are not important I want to eliminate them. My thinking is the simpler the system the less opportunity for leaks.

Thank you everyone for your generous help,

Mark Elmer
