From what I think I knew. Since the 403 is a small block. Thus has parts in common with the Olds 350. Shouldn't the 403 be shorter then the 455 big block from the center line of the crank to the top of the block were the intake sits. On my 78- 403 the air cleaner is up against the engine cover. And I've seen this on other 78- 403's. So I must be wrong. I found a 350 Olds Edelbrook alum intake manifold that I want to install when I finally put my EFI on. Should that intake fit?Bob Dunahugh
