My ultimate plans for my 23 footer are a clean roof ala Ken Henderson's
beautiful example -

I have been planning on a low-profile air conditioner as Ken had used, but I
see now that the Penguin II is about the only low-pro model available
(9.5"). With the recent great news from Larry, Bdub, Jon and others about
the Atwood Air Command A/C units, I am kind of on the fence. I like the low
sleek look of a low-pro unit on a slick 23 footer, but I also obviously want
lots of cold air pumping from a (relatively) quiet unit. The minimal price
difference between the units either way isn't relevant to me.

I'm hoping that someone here has some direct experience with both of these
units who can give me their opinion or recollections about output, noise,
etc. For instance, I know that the Atwood has two motors, but I think the
Penguin II has only one. Would that make it noisier or just not as
efficient?

I appreciate all opinions. Thanks,

Guy Lopes
