My Onan is out on the crane and I am cleaning up the POs rats nest and bad board repair. Ran great but was bubble gum and crimps. A lot of the board mounted terminals were gone and replaced with male insulated flag crimps on tails which I have cleaned up/replaced. I thought I marked everything but cut out so much spaghetti I am down to what was the 3 wires that used to go to the now disconnected regulator. I know you disconnect the single wire and tape it up (where did this wire go as it will be eliminated ?) and the other two stay joined at the Y and taped up. These are the 2 wire numbers I need. I think they are 5 and 8. Do they get connected or left open? I'm looking at the Ken H 9/7/2001 drawing but confused on that part. Doesn't the alt signal need to get the "engine running" voltage to the board
