OK, this is GMC snobbery at its worst. With all the retro popularity Winnebago is putting out a coach that looks like the ones that came out during the time our coaches were out.
I really wonder if this is a good marketing ploy? The poor things weren't very good looking when they were new and so they are going to do it again? Sort of like watching the Super Bowl (which I rarely do) and after an ad thinking, "They paid millions for that?" I imagine a board room where some smoothie sells the idea to the powers that be.
Of course if GM were to put out a retro GMC... now that would look cool... just like ours do. But when you think what GMCs cost in the 70s, I can imagine the price tag would be stunning.
I guess I should just keep my mouth shut and put my new governor in.
