Depending on the me and the inverter the difference between name plate and actual draw can be quite significant

Search for my post re the Panasonic inverter me and a. Xantrax sw inverter that would not run even with 460ah of battery and large wires. Turns out the manuf finally conceded the mw would pull over 200 amps out of that inverter, more than it could handle. Seems the two would not play well together.

Gerald is correct. But that applies to ALL microwaves. The WATT rating shown is the output of the unit. Not the watts required to run them. That input will always be higher. But not much. Bob Dunahugh
