My local GMC search has come up with a couple of good candidates - a 76 Eleganza and 77 Kingsley. Units are comparable in almost all respects, but I'm curious about the trim levels. From the publication literature on bdub's site, the Kingsley was a $260 up charge over the Eleganza. The only difference I've seen (outside of the obvious color differences) walking thru a few examples of each is the cabinet doors - louvered wood on the Kingsley, thermofused (or similar laminated process) on the Eleganza. Are the doors the sole reason for the trim up charge or is there something I'm missing? The glossy marketing material on his site pretty much says the same thing for every model, just with different pictures.

Between 76 and 77, the only change I've seen is the rear suspension, from Power Level to Electra Level. Anything else?

Really enjoy the forum and looking forward to contributing as an owner soon!
